I had to skip a day because of my hectic life.. but I got right back on track today.
Cardio Recovery... so much for recovery. My abs and quads are killing me. Soreness feels good though. It reminds me that I'm doing something good for my body. Getting my flexibility back and some strength in my knees. Since I have knee problems, the strength training (squats/lunges) is definitely going to be good.
The food part is a little challenging. I love good food, and I'm a little poor right now. So trying to eat right is difficult. I went to a picnic on Thursday with the Girls and I'm so happy that they are all watching what they are eating too. Friday, on the other hand was a different story. My boss decided to order Chinese food. She also purposely ordered my favorite guilty pleasure, salt and pepper pork chops. Made it really hard to resist temptation. I had one! Felt guilty all day after that. Felt even more guilty since i didn't have time to workout that day.
Good news is that I'm feeling more energetic and still motivated to keep going. NOT GIVING UP! but check back in a few more days just to make sure. =)
